Quality

Our service aims to bring you high quality bespoke furniture.

For us quality is about getting the important fundamentals right and then focusing on some key details. Fundamentals:

  • Processing is done on state of the art machines running the latest software. Many businesses can trace back their origins to a garage and an idea but for us the manufacturing capability has always been high quality, which means we work with the specialists. State of the art machines tend to be single task focussed so whilst CNC (Computer Numerical Control) is the underlying principle the individual machines are customised to furniture panel processing operations only. Wendy houses one day and built in furniture the next day? No. Panel processing to the highest quality only. Sadly we get questions regularly from potential customers asking about quality and whether for example the edging will delaminate. These issues have been ironed out by industry specialists over 20 years ago so today they are legacy (or the work of those who lack manufacturing expertise) Specifically, this entails:
  • we make your designs from sheet material which is UK or EU sourced. Only sheet material made from sustainably grown wood with FSC certification is used
  • fittings are sourced from premium manufacturers such as Blum and the flagship fittings of their product ranges are selected
  • wood products are 18mm thickness minimum and edgebanding where used is 2mm thick
  • all processing is done on state of the art production class machinery
  • fixings are planned to be hidden and where this is not possible premium aesthetic fittings are used (e.g. metal Rafix)
