Clamex connectors offer quick and discreet cabinet fixing
Clamex connectors from the Swiss manufacturer Lamello (https://www.lamello.com/product/p-system-verbinder/clamex-p-14/) are a great way to get almost invisible fixings for your cabinets.
For our cabinets we use the P-14 variety of Clamex.
If you would like these fixings, during the manufacturing process we machine special ‘biscuit’ slots into the cabinet faces and edges. Pop the Clamex fixings in, bring the panels together and tighten with an allen key.
This fixings can also be undone. If you need to disassemble your cabinets because of a house move for example then the same allen key can be used to unlock the Clamex. If disassembly is valuable to you then Clamex is hard to beat because unlike repeatedly unscrewing a screw where over time the screwhole will loosen, the Clamex is a locking type connector which will be good for many tighten-untighten cycles.
